The idea to setup Step by Step VTA originaly came from 4 members of a well-known Non-Governmental-Organisation (NGO).

Their goal was to develop a Learning Management System with that is offered for free to Filipino students and teachers.
Since the study budget of an average Filipino family does not have enough finances to be able to develop fully, this idea arose.
All the more so because all the members of this NGO have taken an oath to follow in the footsteps of the Philippine national hero and to provide equality of opportunity and education.
That is why they have made contact with various organizations and DepEd (Department of Education in the Philippines) to find sponsoring for this (international) project.

The founders are Filipino and Belgian entrepreneurs and business people, with many years of experience in creating and running various businesses in Belgium, the Philippines and abroad.
All of them have extensive and many years of experience in the development and fast growth of (tech) companies, and specifically of multi-media websites, ICT operations and services, smartphone apps, and in the deployment of AI and Natural language Processing and Speech technologies and the development of Virtual Teaching and Computer Assisted Learning applications.

The company will also build an advisory council, consisting of representatives of DePed (Philippine Government Department of Education), sponsoring and counseling organizations, directors and presidents of private and public schools, CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) specialists, teachers, parents and students, in order to constantly guide the development of the most optimal forms of the various versions of the Step-by-Step VTA® applications and services.
